3. Grotto's Pizza (in the Main Street Galleria), 45 E. Main St. Tel: 369-2200. The most famous pizza in Delaware; known for its gourmet pizzas including the white no-sauce pizza. open Sun.-Th.:11am-2am. Fri.-sat.:11am-3am.

3. Brickyard Tavern & Grill Restaurant (in the Main Street Galleria),45 E. Main St. Tel: 369-8980. Open  Mon.-Sat.:11:30am-1am.

5. NewArk Diner, 137 E. Main St. Tel: 368-8338. An inexpensive 60's style diner. Open 24 hours.

6. Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant, 147 E. Main St. Tel: 266-9000.
Popular for its mix of German and American cuisine and its variety of local fresh handcrafter beers. Open at 11:30am for lunch. and at 5:00pm for dinner. Closed at 9pm Sun.-Wed. and at 11pm Thu.-Sat.

8. Klondike Kates Saloon and Restaurant, 158 E. Main St. Tel: 737-6100. Open 11am-11pm daily.

9. Saigon Vietnam Restaurant, Newark Shopping Center on E. Main St. Tel: 737-1590. Inexpensive but highly acclaimed Vietnamese cuisine.
Open 11am-9pm daily.

9. La Tolteca Mexican Restaurant, Newark Shopping Center on E. Main St. Tel: 737-8220. Authentic but inexpensive Mexican food. Open 11am-10pm daily.

9. T'Adelphia Restaurant, Newark Shopping Center on E. Main St. Tel: 368-9114. Greek and American cuisines. Open 11am-9pm daily.

10. The Trap, 57 Elkton Road (corner of Elkton Road and Amstel Avenue) Tel: 366-8447. Known for its fresh seafood and crab cakes. Open 11am-1am daily.

2. Trabant University Center, S. College Av. and Main St. A number  of fast food restaurants along with a Campus shop, Copy Center, and university offices are located in the Trabant Center. For  more information you can call the information desk at 831-0616.

1. Deer Park Tavern & Bar, 108 W. Main St. Tel: 731-5315. One of the most popular places on campus. Open daily 10 am to 1 am.

3. Brew Ha-Ha (in the Main Street Galleria), 45 E. Main St. Tel: 369-2600. A coffee shop. Open Mon.-Wed.:6am-9pm. Th.-Fri.:6am-11pm. Sat.:7am-11pm. Sun.:7am-9pm.

4. The Stone Balloon, 115 E. Main St. Tel: 368-2000. Bar, tavern, and concert hall. Call for specials.

7. Brewed Awakenings, 58 E. Main St.., and also at 64 E. Main St. Tel: 454-1322. A coffee shop, voted "Best Cafe" by Delaware Today readers. Open Mon.-Sat.:7am-11pm. Sun.:8am-11pm.

9. Jam'N & Java Coffee House, Newark Shopping Center on E. Main St. Tel: 266-6311. Open Mon.-Thu.:7am-11pm. Sat.:8:30am-midnight. Fri.: 7am-midnight. Sun.:10am-11pm.
