Call For Papers

The multiplication of services over IP infrastructures and the increasing demand for solutions which provide assured quality of service require novel paradigms, models and architectures for realising integrated end-to-end service management rather than managing network elements in isolation. To reflect this objective, the title for this year's workshop will be

Internet Services: Management Beyond the Element

Authors are therefore particularly invited to submit research and experience papers as well as lessons learnt contributions on the following and related topics:

• Service provisioning
• Service monitoring and reporting,
• Service modelling
• Customer Care
• Policy-Based Management
• Inter-Domain Management
• Hierarchical Management
• FCAPS innovations
• Mobility Management
• End-to-end QoS Management
• E-business Management
• Management of Middleware and Distributed Objects Platforms
• Supporting Tools, Protocols and Architectures

The workshop will be limited to approximately 100 participants and will follow a single track program in order to allow for in-depth discussions and interaction among workshop participants.

Paper submissions must present original, unpublished research or experiences. Late-breaking advances and early results from ongoing research are also encouraged to be submitted to DSOM'01.

Papers under review elsewhere must not be submitted to DSOM 2001.

The proceedings of the Workshop will be published by INRIA Press. They will also be published via the Web.

Authors are requested to submit papers (up to 12 single-spaced pages) in electronic PDF or Postscript format. Detailled instructions for submission are available here
